I saw Dan Rivers on CNN this morning doing a piece on Thai wine. He made a comment at the end that one day it might be a real possibility that Thailand could become just as famous for it’s wine as for it’s food.
I don’t buy wine that often as the imported versions are very expensive. Even Thai wine can be like 500 baht. I just saw this Thai wine in Foodland and bought the “apple white” one. At 169 baht the price is good but what about the taste?

I just got back home and tasted some. It is not actually that bad. I would go back and buy some more but it is after 2 p.m. and they are not allowed to sell alcohol again until this evening. But then, as this law doesn’t affect their wholesale license, I could go back and buy a crate full! Now, what was the reason the government has restricted licensing hours for alcohol?!
