I am at Ancient Siam in Samut Prakan for the day long worshipping festival for Guan Yin. She is known as the preserver of the Buddhist religion.

The event started at about 9 a.m. with Chinese Buddhist monks chanting and paying respect to various dieties.
Afterwards there was a parade from the floating market area to the statue of Guan Yin.
The parade was led by a dancing dragon and two Chinese lions. After paying respect to the godess, they put on a show for the visitors.
They will repeat the shows this afternoon.
