After lunch, the coffin was put on an elaborate cart and taken the short distance to the crematorium. Here everyone took part in a procession three times around the crematorium. Normally at temples you walk around the chapel clockwise. But for funerals you go anti-clockwise. The cremation ceremony itself starts in about 2 hours.
