Today the Red Shirts are marking the 5th anniversary of the coup. It is late afternoon and they have already taken over the roads around the Democracy Monument. Like in previous rallies, the area has been turned into a kind of temple fair with stalls selling food and just about anything else. There are also dozens of stalks selling red souvenirs.
